Congratulations to Jack Hooper of Veritas and his teammates from the Thirdway Barbarians team who won the recent National Surveyors 7’s rugby tournament at Richmond defeating Knight Frank in the final by way of a ‘golden point’ try 2 minutes from the end of extra time, consigning Knight Frank to a second successive runners up spot.
On the way to the final the Barbarians defeated Tower Eight, Altus Group and JLL in the group stages before knock out stage victories against JLL (again) and a combined Paragon / DTRE side, before the epic final win.
Well done; we look forward to a successful defence of the cup next year.
