PROJECT: The land surrounding the world-famous Wembley stadium, has since 2004 been transformed into a vibrant new district of London. By 2027, Quintain will have over 6,000 rental homes under management, together with extensive outdoor social spaces, a dedicated energy centre and Europe’s first multi-storey coach and car park

VERITAS ROLE: Involved since 2016, we have provided capital allowance advice across four phases of the BTR development and the multi-storey coach and car park. Providing early tax planning advice including around the need to address the residential restriction for capital allowances, preparing individual capital allowance claim submissions across all relevant tax years

POINT OF INTEREST: Veritas were involved at the outset of the design of the BTR development phases, to understand how the building is to function from a services point of view. This allowed us to maximise the available claim by adopting a piecemeal approach, as opposed to an area basis, for the valuation of the plant and machinery within the deemed landlord demise
